America's Next Top Models

Okay so I know it's been all of 2 seconds since my last post, but I couldn't wait to share. I was able to receive a sneak peek from our Family Photo Shoot last Friday and am completely excited about the end results. I must say, I know my girls love to take picks, but they were literally a mess on Friday. Every half second they were posing for the camera, it was supposed to be a laid back action type shoot. They were what I have named them "Pose-ographers" for every step we took they had a new pose that they wanted to do and expected to be taken. I have to give big props to Mrs. Keyla Jones of "Simple Moments of Grace" she was the bomb and took it all in stride. Happy Birthday Jazlyn!!!

Today my babygirl turned 10. Where did the time fly to. I honestly don't know. This past weekend we ended up throwing a big Hannah Montana Extravaganza, not sure how that happened. She felt like the center of attention and had a complete diva 'tude, but all in all it was a ball. Xavier thought the bounce house was completely great except for when you put him in it then he was frightened. That was absolutely hilarious. School has started for me and man is it a task. Currently I am getting a B in the class I hope to lift it to an A before the end of it. We will see, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. LaJuan has completely finished with school and graduated with like a 3.8 GPA. I am extremely proud of him and happy overall that it's done. Not sure how long it will take me to finish school, but I can't wait to say I've graduated. Still no new pictures, still no camera. Remember I'm taking donations, if you need my address just let me know, LOL. Got to figure it out soon, because next month is D.C. and I must have a camera before we leave. I will however have pictures soon, as we are set to have professional family pics done this Friday. I am super geeked and can't wait to see them. I will definately share. Like sands through the hour glass......so are the Days of Our Lives!!!

Time keeps on moving and I have had little of it to get things done. It has been quite awhile since my last post and things have been ever changing. Xavier is now 16 months and moving at lighting speed and growing like a weed. He has currently mastered the art of climbing the stairs and sliding down on his bottom or his belly, whichever suites his fancy at the time. Jazlyn is just Jazz!! Gotta love her and her need for attention she is definately exhibiting the whole middle child syndrome. I am excited that her and I will be able to spend special time together in May as we head to D.C. for her 5th grade trip. I think it will go a long way in making her feel like she is just as special as my two September babies. Ae'Rianna is taller and getting taller by the minute it seems. She is currently wearing my size 12 tennis shoes and I'm praying that we will be able to afford her shoes if her feet get any bigger. At this point, I am just praying that they stay the same size for the remainder of her life. LaJuan is almost done with school, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!! Now on to me, I begin classes in March at Ivy Tech and along with being completely excited about finishing something that I started years ago, I am anxious to see how I will work it into my already super busy life. I thankfully will only be working part-time, but since being mommy and wife are both full-time I will still be just as busy. I know that God, will work it out for me as usual. When one door closes, he will surely open another. I am glad I was paying attention and was able to see the door open and walk through it. I'm super geeked about this year and all that is yet to come. I would post updated pics, but my busy little boy dumped my camera in the toilet. I am taking donations to replace it!! LOL --- I tell you he is really a handful, but I am loving every minute of it. Well that's all for now, will work on the picture thing next time around.

Fried, Dyed & Laid to the Side

Just a quick drop-in the girls went to the shop today and got their do's did. Thought I would share while they still look nice, cause Lord only knows what they will look like tomorrow.

On another note today is MY BIRTHDAY!!! YAYYYY for 31yrs. Of course I couldn't leave my little man out, here is a picture of Xavier. He is such a goof troop!!

Xavier, Xavier, Xavier

I know this was supposed to be a family blog and it's practically turned into all about Xavier instead. For now he is the most exciting of us all. I know I mentioned he recently cut teeth so now it's all about what he can put into his mouth and chew on. He is constantly drooling and I can't tell you how many bibs we go through on a daily basis. He is also completely mobile now. He want get up on all fours to crawl he just basically slids around on his belly. He is going to have some really strong arms. I can't believe he will be 8 months old on Monday. By the way, just in case anyone forgot or didn't know, Monday just happens to my B-day too.

We had our first mishap with Jazlyn and the glasses. Thankfully she didn't break them she only lost them for about a week before I even noticed. Pray she gets better, if nothin but for my sanity.

On another note La Juan and I are headed on vacation in 36 days. We will be traveling to Cabo San Lucas with friends and we ask that you all pray for our safe travel to and from. I can't wait to leave. It is definitely a much needed break.

Well school is almost out and Summer break is around the corner. Please pray for my sanity as I get ready to deal with all 3 children everyday morning and night. Xavier is so laid back but those girls are a different story. They are headed to camp next weekend with their girl scout troop. I hope they have tons a fun and I can't wait for the mini-break. Update on the Kiddos

Xavier is 7 months old and I want to know where the time went. He is growing by leaps and bounds. Last week he cut his 1st tooth and this week he's scooting backwards and trying get on all fours. I can't wait to see what he does next. He is still the happiest baby alive. I really need to video tape how he wakes up in the morning. It would totally amaze you at how happy he is. Here are a few snapshots of him over the last 30 days.


Jazlyn on the other hand is now a member of the eyeglass wearing world. She is completely excited about them, I just pray that she doesn't break them before the 6 month mark or 12 months for that matter. Pray for me that if she does, I don't loose it on her.

In other news Ae'Rianna is 10 going on 30. Please pray for her she is struggling in the area of bad attitudes and I need for her to get her heart right. Also she recently got her hair cut again, however I don't have any pictures because she still keeps it in a ponytail 24/7. I wonder if she will grow out of that in the future. I hope so!! Other than that she has been a big help with Xavier and is on Honor Roll. I am excited to see how she does next year in 6th grade.
