Life as I know it....

So it's been over a year since I last posted. I am such a slacker when it comes to this stuff. Quickly I will try to update this so that I can hopefully grab 10 minutes of solitude to take a quick shower. Hopefully there will be no interruptions.  So in a nutshell life is completely hectic. Ae'Rianna is 6ft tall now playing basketball nonstop, Jazlyn is an up and coming cheerleader for the 8th grade football team and Xavier is starting preschool in just 3 weeks. Oh by the way Ri will be a freshman next week.

Some days I feel like I'm on a ride going round and round with no end in sight. It is super-de-duper busy, but I love it!!! LaJuan has started his own company and it's doing great. I am full-time now and counting down the days until my next vacation.....it's not until 2012, but a girl can always day dream.

For now I will leave it at that and hopefully I will be better, but if not, until next time...PEACE!!!

Sweet Peace

Xavier is the new owner of his very own professional drum set. He has been filling our house with his joyful noise. Currently it's midnight and his sleep so I am enjoying the sweet peace that his slumber brings. Quite time will be far and few in between now that he has those drums. I plan on enjoying it every chance I get. Check him out!!

Long Overdue

Completely glad I can't be fined like the library does when you have overdue books. I'm way past overdue to follow-up with the Harris Clan. As evident by the widget to the right that is now showing my son is 2 years, 5 months and 4 days old. We have just been super busy. Today we celebrated the life of Willa Dee Mills and at 93 I can say she lived a long and full life. It is bittersweet, as much as I know that she is at peace and the relief I feel, not just for her, but myself, I miss her. It is hard work being a persons primary care giver. I would give just about anything to see her eyes light up, like they did whenever my son entered the same room as her or just to hear her call him Prince one more time. I believe he is the sole reason that she was here as long as she was. She absolutely loved her some Xavier and even if she couldn't say his name, you couldn't tell her that he wasn't her baby. I hope to my do my best to honor her memory, by making sure that her little prince excels in the areas of music. I have to cut it short, hope to get back on here sooner than later.

America's Next Top Models

Okay so I know it's been all of 2 seconds since my last post, but I couldn't wait to share. I was able to receive a sneak peek from our Family Photo Shoot last Friday and am completely excited about the end results. I must say, I know my girls love to take picks, but they were literally a mess on Friday. Every half second they were posing for the camera, it was supposed to be a laid back action type shoot. They were what I have named them "Pose-ographers" for every step we took they had a new pose that they wanted to do and expected to be taken. I have to give big props to Mrs. Keyla Jones of "Simple Moments of Grace" she was the bomb and took it all in stride. Check out our shoot, click on the link below. http://simplemomentsofgrace.com/blog/?p=992

Happy Birthday Jazlyn!!!

Today my babygirl turned 10. Where did the time fly to. I honestly don't know. This past weekend we ended up throwing a big Hannah Montana Extravaganza, not sure how that happened. She felt like the center of attention and had a complete diva 'tude, but all in all it was a ball. Xavier thought the bounce house was completely great except for when you put him in it then he was frightened. That was absolutely hilarious. School has started for me and man is it a task. Currently I am getting a B in the class I hope to lift it to an A before the end of it. We will see, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. LaJuan has completely finished with school and graduated with like a 3.8 GPA. I am extremely proud of him and happy overall that it's done. Not sure how long it will take me to finish school, but I can't wait to say I've graduated. Still no new pictures, still no camera. Remember I'm taking donations, if you need my address just let me know, LOL. Got to figure it out soon, because next month is D.C. and I must have a camera before we leave. I will however have pictures soon, as we are set to have professional family pics done this Friday. I am super geeked and can't wait to see them. I will definately share. Well until next time, PEACE!!!

Like sands through the hour glass......so are the Days of Our Lives!!!

Time keeps on moving and I have had little of it to get things done. It has been quite awhile since my last post and things have been ever changing. Xavier is now 16 months and moving at lighting speed and growing like a weed. He has currently mastered the art of climbing the stairs and sliding down on his bottom or his belly, whichever suites his fancy at the time. Jazlyn is just Jazz!! Gotta love her and her need for attention she is definately exhibiting the whole middle child syndrome. I am excited that her and I will be able to spend special time together in May as we head to D.C. for her 5th grade trip. I think it will go a long way in making her feel like she is just as special as my two September babies. Ae'Rianna is taller and getting taller by the minute it seems. She is currently wearing my size 12 tennis shoes and I'm praying that we will be able to afford her shoes if her feet get any bigger. At this point, I am just praying that they stay the same size for the remainder of her life. LaJuan is almost done with school, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!! Now on to me, I begin classes in March at Ivy Tech and along with being completely excited about finishing something that I started years ago, I am anxious to see how I will work it into my already super busy life. I thankfully will only be working part-time, but since being mommy and wife are both full-time I will still be just as busy. I know that God, will work it out for me as usual. When one door closes, he will surely open another. I am glad I was paying attention and was able to see the door open and walk through it. I'm super geeked about this year and all that is yet to come. I would post updated pics, but my busy little boy dumped my camera in the toilet. I am taking donations to replace it!! LOL --- I tell you he is really a handful, but I am loving every minute of it. Well that's all for now, will work on the picture thing next time around.
